1. Introduction
Welcome to TNC Operations. By accessing or using our services, including but not limited to courier, transport, same-day delivery, house removals, fragile goods handling, white glove, and furniture assembly services, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following terms and conditions. Please review these carefully before using our services. If you do not agree with these terms, you should not use our services.
2. Definitions
- "Company" refers to TNC Operations, its affiliates, agents, and employees.
- "Customer" refers to any individual or entity that uses the services provided by the Company.
- "Services" refers to all courier, transport, same-day delivery, house removals, fragile goods handling, white glove, and furniture assembly services offered by the Company.
3. Booking and Scheduling
- All services must be booked through the Company’s official channels (website, phone, email, etc.).
- Customers are responsible for providing accurate and complete information regarding pickup and delivery addresses, special handling requirements, and the nature of the items being transported.
- The Company reserves the right to decline service for items that are improperly packaged, hazardous, illegal, or violate any regulations.
4. Pricing and Payment
- Prices for services will be quoted at the time of booking based on the nature of the service, distance, weight, and other factors.
- Full payment is required prior to service unless otherwise agreed in writing. The Company accepts [payment methods, e.g., credit card, bank transfer, etc.].
- Additional charges may apply for services such as furniture assembly, packing, or special handling of fragile goods.
5. Cancellation and Rescheduling
- Customers may cancel or reschedule a booking up to 48 hours before the scheduled service without incurring additional charges.
- Cancellations made after this period may result in a cancellation fee, up to 100%.
- In the event of unforeseen circumstances (e.g., weather, accidents), the Company reserves the right to reschedule or cancel services. Customers will be notified immediately and will have the option to reschedule at no extra cost.
6. Delivery Timeframes
- The Company will make every effort to deliver items within the agreed timeframe, but cannot guarantee exact delivery times due to unforeseen delays such as traffic, weather, or other factors beyond our control.
- Same-Day Delivery: For same-day services, items must be booked by 12pm. Delivery will be attempted on the same day, but certain delays may apply.
- House Removals: Timelines for removals will be agreed upon prior to service.
7. Liability and Insurance
- The Company will take all reasonable care to ensure the safe transport of items; however, we are not liable for damages caused by events outside of our control (e.g., accidents, natural disasters, etc.).
- For fragile goods, the Customer must notify the Company of any items requiring special care. The Company will not be liable for damages to items that were not disclosed as fragile or improperly packaged by the Customer.
- The Company offers optional insurance for high-value or delicate items, and we recommend customers purchase this coverage for added peace of mind.
- The Company’s liability for lost, damaged, or delayed items will not exceed the declared value of the goods or a maximum of [insert amount], whichever is less.
8. White Glove and Furniture Assembly Services
- For White Glove Services, the Company will unpack, place, and assemble items according to Customer instructions. The Customer must ensure there is sufficient space and access for these services to be performed.
- The Company is not responsible for damages to property (e.g., walls, flooring) unless directly caused by gross negligence on the part of our team.
- Furniture Assembly: The Company will assemble furniture according to manufacturer instructions. We are not liable for any manufacturer defects or issues caused by improper assembly due to incorrect instructions.
9. Customer Responsibilities
- The Customer is responsible for ensuring items are appropriately packed for transport unless the Company has agreed to provide packing services.
- The Customer must ensure clear and safe access to the pickup and delivery locations.
- The Customer is required to inspect all goods upon delivery and report any damages or missing items immediately.
10. Prohibited Items
The Company will not transport the following:
- Hazardous or illegal materials
- Perishable goods (unless specifically arranged)
- Animals or live plants
- Items that exceed weight or size limitations set by the Company
11. Dispute Resolution
- In the event of a dispute, the Customer agrees to contact the Company directly to resolve the issue before taking any further legal action.
- If the dispute cannot be resolved amicably, both parties agree to enter into mediation or arbitration in the United Kingdom.
12. Changes to Terms & Conditions
- The Company reserves the right to modify these Terms & Conditions at any time. Changes will be posted on our website and will take effect immediately unless otherwise specified.
- Continued use of the Company’s services following any changes constitutes acceptance of those changes.
13. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the United Kingdom. Any legal action arising out of or in connection with these terms must be filed in the appropriate courts of the United Kingdom.
